DESCRIPTION:WINE TASTING: \nA Class in Appreciation of and Education About Wine \nInstructor: Carol Tunstall\, Wine Buyer\, North Street Market\, Onancock \nFour sessions: Thursdays\, March 21 and 28 & April 18 and 25\, 5:30 p.m. -7:00 p.m. The four classes will cover the following subject areas with multiple wines available for tasting and experiencing the differences between wines: \nMarch 21 – Sparkling Wines: The history of Champagne and sparkling wines. Sample sparklers from Italy\, Spain\, the U.S. and France. \nMarch 28 – Red Wines\, from light to bold. Taste the differences in a variety of red wines and learn what foods pair well with each wine sampled. \nApril 18 – Chardonnay from five countries. Experience the differences in taste of this one grape\, grown in several different countries. \nApril 25 – Wine and cheese pairing. Experience the “wow” moment when the perfect cheese and wine come together. \nLocation: Historic Onancock School\, 6 College Avenue\, Onancock. \nClass size: This is a limited seating class. Registrants who sign up for all four classes will receive priority.
