DESCRIPTION:ESAL invites you to their 2019 Member Show \nReception 5-8 PM \nCome for a peek at what these talented artists have been up to all summer. \nHeld in the main events room @ the Historic Onancock School\, 6 College Avenue\, Onancock\, 23417. \nThis Gala will feature wine\, hors d’ oeuvres and music from acoustic guitar player Dade Walker\, a student of Arcadia High School. In addition\, First\, Second and Third Place for both Peoples’ Choice and Artists’ Choice as well as Best of Show will be awarded the same evening. All members of the public and local artists are encouraged to come and cast their votes. All works of art are offered for Sale. The show will be open through November 25th. A holiday exhibit is planned for December 5th through the new year.

SUMMARY:ESVA Historical Society: Panel Discussion on the New Firefighting Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:In conjunction with the exhibit\, the Historical Society will host a panel discussion from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday\, Oct. 11. Officials from the Accomack County Sheriff’s Department; the Virginia State Police; and others will discuss how their organizations operate independently as well as in conjunction with one another during a long\, large investigation\, such as the 2012-13 arsons. This event will cost $5 for each Historical Society member and $10 a person for the general public.
