DESCRIPTION:Friday\, January 24\, 2020\n6:00 PM until 8:00 PM\nBethel AME Church\n40 Boundary Avenue\, Onancock\, VA\nThe Town of Onancock will hold a public meeting on Friday\, January 24\, 2020\, at 6:00 p.m. in the Bethel AME\nChurch\, 40 Boundary Avenue\, Onancock\, Virginia\, to solicit public input on local community development and\nhousing needs concerning Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for a project in the Northeast\nNeighborhood.\nInformation on the amount of funding available\, the requirements for benefit to low- and moderate-income\npersons\, eligible activities\, and plans to minimize displacement and provide displacement assistance as\nnecessary will be available. Citizens will also be given the opportunity to comment on the Town of Onancock’s\npast use of CDBG funds. All interested citizens are urged to attend. Join one when you arrive at the playhouse or try this challenge solo! The cost to play is $10 for each team or $5 for individual players.\nBrush up your elvish\, make sure your Tardis has locked coordinates\, and keep your wand handy for a night of nerdy fun. Questions will range from a classic sci-fi trip on the USS Enterprise to flying high on a Nimbus 2000.\nTeams are encouraged to come in costume—just one of the many ways you can earn bonus points throughout the night. The top 3 teams will take home bragging rights and some fabulous prizes!\n“Happy hour” begins at 7:00 with specialty drinks (for adults and teens!)\, snacks\, and games in the lobby.
