DESCRIPTION:The Onancock Market board of directors is excited to announce the Grand Opening of a new Winter Market!  A portion of 20 Market Street\, in Downtown Onancock has been refurbished into a bright\, welcoming\, sheltered space for farmers\, bakers and prepared food vendors to offer their products to shoppers.  No matter what the weatherman delivers\, you will now be able to shop for your favorite local foods from December through April. \nOfferings from your favorite Onancock Market vendors will include fresh\, local winter vegetables and greens\, eggs\, crab\, oysters\, meats\, breads\, preserves\, pies and pastries.  We expect that more food products will be offered as the season progresses. \nThe Winter Market is located in 20 Market Street\, the building housing Market Street Antiques\, next to the summer Onancock Market lot. Look for the sign over the door. Hours are every Saturday morning from 9am to 12pm\, through April.  The Onancock Market with all of the farmers\, bakers\, meat\, seafood\, artisans\, crafters and artists\, will begin its 9th season on May 2nd and run every Saturday\, May through November. \nThe Onancock Market and Winter Market is a volunteer driven\, 501(c)3 organization serving the Eastern Shore community.  For more information follow us on Facebook and check out our website at onancockmarket.com.  Prospective vendors\, email us at onancockmarket@gmail.com.
