Watermen’s Museum: “From Bay to Belly”
June 12, 2021
We are very happy to announce that we have a new exhibit here at the museum called “From Bay to Belly” on loan to us through the end of August from the Watermen’s Museum in Yorktown. We are very thankful to our friends in Yorktown for their generosity and support. The exhibit describes the processes of getting seafood from the waters of the Chesapeake Bay to your plate and it is quite an interesting and informative presentation! We will officially unveil this new display this Saturday, June 12th at noon in the Eastern Shore Watermen’s Museum and Research Center located in the Historic Onancock School at 6 College Avenue, Onancock, Virginia. Entrance to the museum is by donation (any amount is appreciated) and all are welcome to attend!
