Waterfront Committee

The Onancock Waterfront Committee is an advisory committee that advises the Town Council on matters concerning the Onancock Waterfront, Marina, and Harbormaster Facility.

The committee’s responsibilities include strategic oversight of the marina and assisting the Harbormaster and staff in matters ranging from prioritizing facility maintenance to attracting transient boating guests and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The committee’s long-term responsibilities include advising the Town Council on financial expenditures, proposed upgrades to the marina, and gathering feedback and advice from town residents as it applies to the marina.

The Waterfront Committee meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 PM in the Onancock Town Council Chambers. Meetings are open to the public, and time is allocated for public comment.
