What if I can’t pay my whole bill?
Here are the steps we ask you to follow:

Call the office to tell us that you are having trouble paying. (757-787-3363).

You may qualify for a payment plan.

A payment plan requires a down payment.

A payment plan must be fully paid before the next bill is due.

Failure to comply with the terms of a payment plan will result in service disconnection.

- No disconnection if the National Weather Service projects weather in excess of 91 degrees
- No disconnection on Fridays, weekends, state holidays or the day before state holidays
- Notices:
- Must be given when the account is established, when the notice for disconnection due to nonpayment is given, or on the website. This website serves as the notice.
- The notice must be delivered by USPS, email, text message, phone call, or door hanger
- Disconnection will occur when the account is 45 days in arrears unless arrangements have been made
- No disconnection can be made within 30-days of the Governor declaring a state of emergency.
