Text My Town

The County of Accomack uses CodeRED emergency notification services to alert the community in the event of a pending weather event, natural disaster, or even a small event that could have an impact on all or part of the citizens. You must enroll.

Every so often, the Town Manager publishes a newsletter with non-emergency information.  If you would like to receive this as well as urgent updates, via email select the button below and enroll.  If you prefer text messages, please enroll in the Text My Town program.

About a week before each Town Council meeting, the Town Manager emails the Agenda and all backup information sent to Council members to interested residents.  If you would like to receive this information, select the button and provide your email.
