Utility Bill Dispute

Occasionally, a utility bill is surprisingly high.  The town makes every effort to be fair and reasonable when this happens, but there are certain guidelines we must follow.  Use this link to see the town ordinance regarding water and sewer bill adjustments.

If you have worked with town staff and the Town Manager and believe the ordinance allows for an adjustment to your bill, you can appeal to the Town Council.  The council assigns two members to serve in this capacity.  All you need to do to request a meeting with the town manager and the council representatives is to complete the attached form, and they will hear your appeal and provide the details of the town’s decision.

We want everyone to be treated openly, honestly, and according to town rules.  This process encourages that.
