April 8 – Australia – A World Leader in Wines Australia is the fourth largest producer of wine in the world with an international export market of over 400 million liters annually. A large, climatically diverse country with incredibly diverse terrain, Australia has rapidly become a world leader in both the quantity and quality of wines it produces. The country has a grand winemaking history and some of the oldest vines on the planet. The breadth of Australia’s wine offerings continues to expand and surprise with an impressive array of emerging and established producers. We will experience an impressive sampling of Australian wines.
