Crab Crackin’ Tickets Now on Sale
All-you-can-eat feast fundraiser
to feature music by the Crawdaddies
Inaugural Crab Crackin’ at Ker Place
4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18
The lawn at Ker Place, 69 Market St., Onancock, Va.
The menu includes:
Steamed Crabs
Crab & Shrimp Boil with Corn and Potatoes
Barbecue
Coleslaw
Beer (3 included in ticket price; additional available for purchase)
Wine (2 included in ticket price; additional available for purchase)
Live Music by the Crawdaddies, an East Coast roots-rock band with a unique blend of Cajun, zydeco, and reggae
Tickets are $50 each and available for purchase at shorehistory.org/ticketsales; by calling 757.787.8012; at Ker Place in Onancock; at the Dogwood Branch, 4 North St., Onancock; and the Book Bin in Onley
The event will serve as a fundraiser for the reconstruction of the dock, piers, and bulkhead at Onancock’s Hopkins & Bro. store, which is owned by the Historical Society. One boat slip there is available for public mooring, and rental of the other four slips benefits the Historical Society.
