Hopkins House (Beechlawn) – 8 Market Street
Captain Hopkin’s middle son, John P.L., built the house in 1860 and made significant additions in 1890 and 1906. The house takes its name from the majestic beech trees shading the yard, which sweeps down to the Central Branch of Onancock Creek.
