Roads
The Town of Onancock owns all Streets and Roads in Town.
The town maintains Certain Streets, and VDOT maintains certain streets. The map above shows the streets under VDOT’s secondary maintenance network. If you are curious, the green line on the map indicates a VDOT scenic route.
If you see anything, especially a safety issue, on a VDOT-maintained street, call 1-800-367-7623.
If you see a problem with a town-maintained road, please call the office or text “pothole” to 757-302-3900. You can even send pictures.
We make every effort to make small repairs twice each year. Larger paving projects take years of saving and reserving funds.
