Annual Budget

The Town Manager prepares a budget for the Town Council’s consideration each year. This budget determines utility rates, real estate tax rates, personal property tax rates, and garbage fees – to name a few items that affect you personally.

We use this revenue to care for the town and improve it in ways approved by the Town Council.

Your voice and opinions are very important, and there are multiple opportunities to share your thoughts on appropriate expenditures and projects that you want – or don’t want – included in the budget.  The public hearings for the budget usually occur in March and April for the fiscal year beginning July 1.
